Brunswick, GA – Alston Industries is proud to have sponsored the Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship as a founding director at the inaugural Friends & Founders Fundraiser hosted by the advisory board. This milestone event, held at The Lucas Center - Downtown, celebrated the important work the Lucas Center has done and ongoing economic empowerment in the Coastal Georgia region.
The Friends & Founders initiative marks the first of many events by the Lucas Center, which, under the leadership of Art and Lindee Lucas and the guidance of Drs. Skip Mounts and Ande Noktes, has empowered over 500 entrepreneurs in just two years. With a focus on supporting diverse business leaders, the Lucas Center has transformed lives across Glynn, McIntosh, and Camden counties through mentoring and educational programs.

The Center will honor all founding supporters of the Friends & Founders campaign with a permanent display inside The Correll Center at the College of Coastal Georgia, commemorating those who want to leave a lasting legacy and take an active role in Coastal Georgia’s continued entrepreneurial growth.
